· Pre drill the shim and hold the bracket using the shim.
·Makea line onshim.
· Now setting the bracket aside cut the shim using knife.
· Attach the bracket to the trim with the shim in place.
9. If needed, install a support bracket in the middle of the head rail following the above instructions.
10. Kindly make sure that support bracket does not interfere with blind’s ladder cord and it’s even withthe end brackets.
11. Some of the kits mayalso provide you with the valance clips, if so attach the valance clips to the headrail and make sure that valance clips do not interfere with the functioning of window blinds.
12. Next step is installing mount returns for outside installation byfollowing manufacturer’s instructions.
13. Thecord stop has to be 1”-2” from the headrail when blinds are all the way down. If not so, you need to make an adjustment by
· Lowering the blind to its longest length.
· Loosen the knot.
· Then push the cord stop and knotto 1”-2” from head rail.
· Remember to hold the stop while pulling on the court to retighten the knot.
